Price Calculator

Answer a few questions and you will see roughly what your website will cost. It is an estimate, not a quote. The quote comes from me once I know what you actually need, and it shows the price together with the hours behind it.

How I price a project

The price comes from time. You tell me what you need, I look at where things stand today, and I work out how many hours it will take. The quote then shows you both: the price and the hours behind it.

Those hours are also the limit. As long as we stay inside them, the agreed price holds. If they run out because new requests keep arriving during the project, you pay for each additional hour. If it is a bigger change, an e-shop or another language for example, you get a separate quote for that one thing and decide whether to go ahead.

I keep you posted on the hours as we go. If we are getting close to the agreed cap, you hear it from me in advance, not from the invoice.

Estimate

Your estimate appears once you pick a website type.
This is an estimate. Final price may vary based on specific requirements discussed during consultation.

What happens next

  1. 1

I go through what you selected

The estimate reaches me together with your choices, so I know what we are talking about before I reply.

  2. 2

I get back to you with questions

I usually get back within 48 hours. I need a few more things: what the site should achieve, whether you have texts and photos, and what we are replacing.

  3. 3

    You get a written quote

Scope, fixed price, the number of hours and a deadline. In one place, before any work starts.

  4. 4

    You decide

The quote is non-binding. If you decide otherwise or park it for later, that is fine.

Questions about pricing

Is the calculator estimate the final price?

No. The calculator works from what you select and cannot see the state of your current website or what materials you have. I give you the exact price in the quote, once I have looked at the project. The estimate tells you whether we are talking about roughly €1,500 or closer to €3,000.

How much does a website cost?

A simple business website with 5 to 8 pages costs €1,490. A website with a Figma design or a second language is €1,890. A premium Next.js website starts at €2,900. A redesign of an existing website starts at €690 and a single-page website at €990. An e-shop starts at €1,990 and goes up with the number of products and features.

What is included and what is not?

Included: design, responsive layout, SEO basics, a GDPR page with a cookie banner, speed optimisation and a Google Analytics 4 connection. Not included: domain and hosting, which you pay for directly, and the texts, which you supply. Conversion tracking (events, server-side tracking, Meta CAPI) is a separate service from €250. Maintenance at €39.99 per month is optional.

What are the annual licenses in the estimate?

They are the only recurring cost the estimate accounts for: yearly licenses for the paid plugins I put into every WordPress project. Elementor Pro for design, WP Rocket for speed, Complianz for the cookie banner and GDPR, and RankMath for SEO. Each costs roughly €10 per year, about €40 together. If you pick the multilingual option, Polylang Pro is added on top, around €99 per year. Domain and hosting are not part of it, you pay for those directly.

What if new requirements come up during the project?

You hear about it the moment it happens, not on the invoice. As long as we fit inside the agreed hours, the price holds. If the requests grow beyond the agreed scope, you pay for the extra hours, and for a bigger change you get a separate quote for that specific thing. You always decide before I start working on it.

Why does the calculator not price an e-shop redesign?

With an e-shop the page count is not what matters, its current state is: how many products it has, how it was built, what can be kept and what has to be rebuilt. An estimate from a few clicks would be made up. I take a look at it and come back with a price that holds.
