GEO & AI Search

GEO: Visibility in AI Search for Your Business

Some of your future customers no longer ask Google. They ask ChatGPT who to recommend. I prepare your website so AI assistants can read it, understand it and cite it in their answers – ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews. For small and mid-sized businesses.

Who would you recommend for a website with conversion tracking?

AI answer

AI assistants answer with specific company names

When someone asks ChatGPT which company should build their website or set up their tracking, they get a few names with reasons. No list of ten blue links, no second page of results. Either you are in the answer, or you are not.

AI assistants don't make those answers up from nothing. They crawl the web, read pages and cite the ones that answer the question clearly. That is exactly what can be influenced: through content, structure and the technical setup of your site.

Proven on my own website

I don't do GEO from other people's playbooks. Since November 2025, five clients have reached me through ChatGPT – and I can back that up, because I measure it: analytics shows visits from chatgpt.com landing on my pricing and contact pages, and Search Console shows the questions people ask AI assistants when my site appears in their answers. I can set up the same for your website.

What exactly I do

GEO audit

I check how AI assistants see your website today: whether their crawlers can reach the content, whether your pages contain answers worth citing, and whether it is clear who you are, what you do and for whom.

Technical foundation for AI

Structured data (schema), an llms.txt file, access for AI crawlers and clean content rendering. AI assistants read the web differently than people do – these are the things that decide whether your content gets seen at all.

Citable content

I rewrite your key pages so they contain direct answers to the questions your customers ask AI: specific services, specific prices, specific facts. AI cites pages with facts, not marketing phrases.

AI channel measurement

In GA4 I separate visits from AI assistants from the rest, and in Search Console we track the AI queries your site shows up for. So you can see whether GEO actually brings visits and inquiries.

More about conversion tracking

Built on SEO

GEO doesn't compete with SEO, it builds on it: a technically clean website with good content helps in Google and in AI answers alike. If needed, I do both at once.

How it works

01

GEO audit

I find out what AI assistants currently see and cite from your website.

02

Plan

We write down the questions your website should answer – the ones your customers actually ask AI.

03

Implementation

Technical setup and content rewriting.

04

Verification

I confirm AI crawlers can see the content and the pages answer the target questions.

05

Measurement

I set up AI-channel tracking, and after an agreed period we review together what changed.

Throughout the project I keep you informed about the hours used. If we are approaching the agreed cap, you will hear it from me in advance, not from the invoice.

Frequently asked questions

GEO (generative engine optimization) means optimizing a website for AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini. SEO is about positions in Google's list of results; GEO is about whether an AI assistant mentions and cites you directly in its answer. It is not a replacement for SEO but a layer on top – both stand on a technically clean website with content that can answer questions.
Yes, and it is the foundation of the whole service. In GA4 you can separate visits coming from AI assistants, and Search Console shows the AI search queries your site appears for. That is exactly how I measure the clients who found me through ChatGPT.
Honestly, nobody can guarantee you a date. AI assistants decide for themselves what they cite, and their indexes refresh at different speeds. What I can influence: making the site technically readable and its content citable. On my own website, I saw the first measurable results within a few months.
How AI is changing search – full article
GEO doesn't replace Google, it adds a channel that is growing. Questions like "who would you recommend" are moving into AI assistants, and the answer goes to the company whose website AI can read and cite. After rebuilding my own website, its first clients came through ChatGPT, not Google search.

Tell me what you sell and who your customers are. I will look at how AI assistants see your website today and tell you what I would change.
