Website Development for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses
I build business websites where you know the scope and the price before we start. Design, responsive layout, GDPR and the SEO foundation are part of the build — the full list is below.
What's included
- 5 to 8 pages (home, services, about, references, contact, for example)
- Design built directly in WordPress and Elementor, matched to your brand and colours
- Responsive layout on mobile, tablet and desktop
- Contact form with spam protection, inquiries land in your inbox
- GDPR: a privacy policy page and a cookie banner with Consent Mode v2
- SEO foundation: titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, sitemap and indexing in Google
- Speed optimization: images, caching, loading
- Google Analytics 4 connected for traffic reporting (conversion tracking is a separate service)
- Training: at handover I show you how to manage the content yourself, so a text change doesn't mean calling me
You supply the copy — I'll advise on the structure and what belongs on each page. If you don't have your own photos, I'll select them from free stock libraries. Domain and hosting are not included; you pay for those directly, and I handle the setup and deployment. A Figma design, multiple languages or a shop move the project into a larger scope.
How the agreed scope works
A fixed price is a price for an agreed scope of work. A 5–8 page website has a predictable scope, which is why I can quote it upfront, and that scope includes time for your feedback. So we handle revisions as we go, and I keep you posted on how much of the agreed scope is used up. If the scope grows, you hear it from me in advance, not from the invoice.
The same applies after launch: small edits are covered by whatever scope is left, usually within 30 days of going live.
How it works
Conversation
You tell me what your business does, who it sells to and what the site should achieve.
Proposal
You get the scope, the price and the timeline in writing before anything starts.
Design and build
Section by section — home page, approval, next section. You see progress as it happens and can react before a change gets expensive.
Pre-launch checks
Mobile, speed, forms, indexing, GDPR.
Launch and handover
The site goes live, you get short documentation and training.
Frequently asked questions
Tell me what your business does and what you expect from the site. I'll come back with the scope, the price and a timeline.
Have a project in mind?
Tell me what you're building and I'll come back with how I'd approach it and a rough cost. No pressure.
Or skip the forms, just ask.
